Freedom Contract

Fellow Ohioans, in response to former Liberal Republican Congressman Steve LaTourette’s declaration of war on Ohio Conservatives and the Ohio Republican Party’s continuing to endorse and promote Republicans that Expand Welfare, Increase Government Spending, Create New Taxes, Advocate for Homosexual Marriage, and Support policies that Reduce your Religious Freedom, we hereby offer you an alternative. As Republican candidates and as citizens seeking to join elected office, we propose not just to change these liberal policies, but even more important, to restore the freedom needed for every Ohioan to again seek individual success and prosperity in your life.

 

In this era of officeholders speaking promises to you while looking you in the eye and doing the opposite when you’re not looking, we offer instead a detailed agenda for statewide renewal, a commitment in writing to all of our citizens and a request that you hold us accountable.

 

This year's election offers the chance to transform our Ohio government from one whose leaders are concerned about their power to leaders that are concerned about your freedom. This historic change will help end government that wants control of your life, is too liberal in spending your money, and rejects your values. It can be the beginning of a growing confidence in knowing that your family and your life are destine for success once again because you are free to choose your own path.

 

Therefore, should I receive your confidence and be elected; I offer the following contract to you in writing. A defined document designed to show my commitment and promised actions of restoring your individual freedom and supporting your values.

 

1. Constituent Commitment

When making decisions on a vote as your representative, my decisions will always be prioritized by what gives you more freedom and is in your best interest.Your interest will always come before the interest of any political party.

 

2. Job Creation Act

Your ability to have a quality job that provides the foundation for your family’s success will be my top priority. I will defend and promote the newly discovered energy sector in Ohio. I will use this as a springboard to spark enthusiasm throughout our state. I will remove the roadblocks of overregulation and over taxation on businesses. My goal will be to promote Ohio as the “go to” state in the country with the best environment for operating a business and with workers that are second to none. I will always defend the freedom and opportunity of every Ohioan to open and run your own business, free from government overreach, so that you might succeed in achieving your dream of success in your life.

 

3. Healthcare Freedom Restoration Act

I will vote to defend your healthcare freedom as represented in the Ohio Constitution. I will work to reverse all parts of Obamacare in Ohio that are destroying your healthcare by lowering the quality of your care, limiting your choice of doctors, raising your premiums, and raising your deductibles to such a level that you basically have no health care at all. I will fight to restore your healthcare freedom by working to provide you with the freedom to have private, quality, choice, and affordable healthcare.

 

4. Protecting Senior Citizens Safety Net Act

I will vote to defend and protect you, our senior citizens, by reversing the recent irresponsible welfare expansion (Medicaid Expansion) given to able-body younger people. I will ensure the solvency of Medicaid that will be needed for you, and for the demand from thousands of other up and coming baby-boom senior citizens. Your protection and peace of mind of knowing that a sound Medicaid program is there for you should your money run out at the most vulnerable time of your life, will be one of my top priorities. Providing for you and other senior citizens who are unable to work will always come before providing for able-body younger people refusing to work.

 

5. Local Parental Freedom Control Act

Protecting moms’ and dads’ freedom and your right to control what your children are learning at your local school will be one of my top priorities. I will vote to reverse Washington D C s’ Common Core Curriculum being imposed on to you and your children. I will vote to stop any effort that gives more federal government control over you and your child’s life at any public school, private school, and faith based school or on any home school family.

 

6. Government Responsible Spending Act

I will vote to protect your freedom from an ever growing and intrusive Ohio government.I will hold Ohio’s overall government spending at current levels during my term. Any spending increases needed in areas of Ohio government, must be found from spending reductions in other areas.Controlling Ohio’s government spending now will protect you from Ohio’s government reaching further into your wallet later.I will vote to return any surplus revenue beyond the current budget to you the taxpayer.

 

7. Religious Practice and Free Speech Act

I will not only protect your church’s religious freedom, but I will protect your individual religious freedom given to you by our Constitution. I will vote to defend you against any effort by groups like atheists or homosexual domination activists who attempt to impose policies that discriminate against you. I will stand and fight with you against religious intolerance and their determination to make it illegal for you to practice your individual religious freedom of disagreeing with or speaking out in favor of your religious beliefs.

 

8. Unborn Child Freedom Protection Act

I will vote to pass the heartbeat bill, which will protect the freedom of an innocent child to be born once their heartbeat is detected.I will also vote to end all taxpayer funding of any organization which supports the killing of any innocent unborn child.

 

9. Landowner Protection Act

I will defend your freedom and rights as a property owner. Any attempt to impose government control over you and your mineral rights or increase taxes on your property’s minerals will be met with my rejection. Your freedom to enjoy peaceful property ownership will be one of my priorities.

 

10. Ohioans’ Privacy Act

I will protect your freedom of privacy in Ohio. I will vote to impose a minimum of 10 years in prison for any federal, state, or local government employee or any individual acting on the government’s behalf that collects your private communications, listens into your private communications, or stores your private communications including cell phone calls, emails, private social media messages, or any other private communications without an elected State of Ohio Judge’s review. I will vote to require that the number of approved people for surveillance be publically reported weekly to the citizens of Ohio.

 

Respecting the judgment of our fellow citizens as we seek your mandate for reform, we hereby pledge our name to this Freedom Contract with Ohioans.
